Anglican Cursillo Movement
"Will you let me be your servant let me be as Christ to you...."
Cursillo is a short three day course in Christian living conducted in an atmosphere that buids loving community. This experience has changed people's lives, deepened their sense of belongig and supported the spirit of service.
The focus of Cursillo is on the 4th Day — that is, the rest of your life. Cursillo does not exist for itself. It is a lay movement of the church that equips and inspires people to be active apostles for Christ.
Cursillo needs to be experienced to be understood. It is for the faithful and is not intended as a means to bring newcomers to the faith.
Cursillo began in Spain in the 1940's and the terms used to describe aspects of the movement are still Spanish.
Cursillo was introduced to the Diocese of Perth in 1992 and has grown to include more than 1,700 people in Western Australia.
In the parish we have group meetings on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 7:30 pm and on the 4th Saturday of the month at 8:30 am.
Anyone wishing to know more about the movement, to attend a Cursillo weekend or meeting please contact the Parish Office.
