LITURGY PLANNING TEAM
Good and creative worship requires considerable planning.
As a parish we offer community worship services such as the blessing of the animals (near St Francis day), the P-plate service (our contribution to road safety) and services in response to major national and world events.
We celebrate the Christian Year with its rhythm of taking time out to prepare for new birth (Advent), celebrating birth (Christmas), preparing our life for creative ministry and living (Lent), living the pain of death and discovering new life (Good Friday and Easter), celebrating the presence of God's life Giving Spirit (Pentecost) and growing in Christian Discipleship.
Stages in our Christian faith journey are celebrated: Baptism, Communion, Confirmation, Marriage etc.
We offer blessings for new beginnings or affirming ongoing relationships - houses, relationships etc.
