Local Mission Initiatives
As a parish we are committed to:
- Proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom
- Teaching, baptizing and nuturing new believers
We are challenged to find new ways to tell people of the Good News of God's love; of the hope and the new life which that brings to us as members of Christ and to each other through the church.
We are also challenged to worship in ways that assist people to come closer to the mystery of God and the peace and disturbance that brings. We seek to make both a joyful noise and yet also to be quiet to hear the "still small voice".
The Market place, local primary and high schools, government and community organizations and groups, the businesses, health services - the list goes on - are all here in Midland. As part of our mission we seek to contribute to building a strong community that has heart and soul and in this way support individuals and families to be strong and know a healthy bond of love.
If you are interested in proclaiming the gospels and expressing this in new ways then let the parish office know. Your gifts and enthusiasm will be honoured.
